I travelled in the standard Monrovia-Buchanan taxi, which was unlucky for the driver since it created problems in the checkpoints (there are four). We were stopped and harassed for money in each one, even stopped twice on one occasion. Road is excellent from Monrovia to Robertsfield, it even has solar-powered streetlights, the rest is unpaved with construction along parts of it.
